SHEREE HOMER – CATCH THAT ROCKABILLY FEVER
Here comes from USA a great book writen by a fan for the fans. No monkey business or quick made money. But what’s make that book different from many others is the young age of the kitty … born in 1980. Yes, Siree, that’s probably one of the first, if not the first, book written by a young female who was born long after the word rockabilly had vanished from The Billboard.

MIKE SANCHEZ AND THE PORTIONS
Jesus Miguel Sanchez was born in London in 1964, from a mother that had a son, John, who was 18 years his senior. When John left London, he left his old Dansette record player and a bunch of singles by Buddy Holly, Elvis or Little Richard to Mike. Having took very early piano lessons, and leaving school without much hope of anything, he decided to form a band with his best friend at the time, Ian Jennings.

JIMMY DONLEY – THE SHAPE YOU LEFT ME IN
Here is another great and welcome CD packaged by Richard Weize with the help of Louisiana legend Johnnie Allan, long time writer Hank Davis and Myrna Donley Mayo. After the recent passing of Bobby Charles, that’s damn good to enjoy a musical trip in the Louisiana swamp pop and to have all the “Decca” sides cut by Jimmy Donley for “Decca”. That’s the time that Jimmy’s music is reissued with the care and attention it deserves. So “Come Along” … and enjoy knowing about Jimmy’s short life and large music legacy.

JIMMY EDWARDS – LOVE BUG CRAWL
I think most of us know or had danced on that classic 1957 rockin’ song but how about the whole musical journey of that Missouri cat who recorded for “Mercury” and “RCA”? A paper from Cowboy Songs published in June 1958 gave us little info but not much so that Richard Weize/Colin Escott’s new work is rather welcome.
